FALL ON THE RIVER

streams and small creeks can dry up over the summer.  these images are from my first time out at Kenney's Landing a few years ago in the fall and while the Sippican River itself was flowing, although low and slow, the side streams were not.  it was spooky to me to be standing in a dry bed with signs of running water surrounding me...suddenly winter and snow were very appealing!
